We are a Family owned and operated company giving you personal service since 1989, Merrillville Auto Glass & Restyling has been a family-owned business operating on two key fundamentals, supply its customers with only the best products, and the finest service ...guaranteed!!! As our knowledge and expertise expanded, so did our services.
But how did you get into this line of work?
Well Once Upon a time, a long time ago.....
I learned this business from my father, Paul Perez, the Owner of P&J Glass & Trim, in Highland Indiana. Way back in the 70's, I worked in his store, watching and Learning. (He has since retired to Arkansas, having fun on his land, and my sister Linda and her husband Kenny have purchased the P&J still in Highland IN.)
In 1989 I was going through a divorce, so I purchased my fathers Gary Location in the old Tri-City Plaza shopping mall in Gary Indiana. In 1993 I then moved our location to Merrillville. Where we have been ever since.
In 1995 I was married to my wonderful husband Dan- and it has been an exciting 20 years. Yes, we work together and are together 24/7 - and we love it! (please no emails on how this is possible- we get asked all the time)
We just know we love each other and love what we do, so it works.
We have expanded out services over the years to stay on top of changing trends. But we have always strived to bring you the best products and services we can.
We have five wonderful children, our dog Margo ( which you can visit each time you come to our store) and two cats : Buddy and Callie. See our links pages for these precious creatures that make us laugh constantly.
